SOLAR ENERGY SITE

Nelson Elementary has been selected as one of several Solar Energy Sites in the Clovis Unified Solar Project. This project will save the school district over 50 million dollars in the next 25 years. The installation of the solar structures will begin in earnest on December 17th and run through May 2013. Beginning on December 17th through January 7th, the west parking lot behind kindergarten will be closed, and access through the east parking lot will be limited. Please plan ahead to drop off and pick up from the street access in front of the school. Come earlier or later to help avoid traffic congestion. Your patience through this exciting project is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to call the office if you have any questions.
